Yes, a GP referral is required for specialist consultations with Dr Daniel Bird. This ensures you can claim Medicare rebates for your appointment. Your GP can provide a referral for sleep or respiratory concerns.

What is CPAP therapy?

CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) is the gold standard treatment for obstructive sleep apnea. It uses a machine to deliver constant air pressure through a mask worn during sleep, keeping your airways open and preventing breathing interruptions.

What conditions does Dr Daniel Bird treat?

Dr Bird treats a wide range of sleep and respiratory conditions including: sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, asthma, COPD, lung cancer evaluation, interstitial lung disease, and respiratory infections. He also performs bronchoscopy and EBUS procedures.
