This Privacy Policy explains how Engagemii, LLC collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you use our platform. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. The Service is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, email address, username, and password (hashed) when you register.
• Payment & Wallet Information: Cryptocurrency wallet address or payment details for rewards participation.
• Purchase Order Numbers: Shared with the relevant brand solely to complete purchase verification.
• Payout Account Details: Email for gift cards; Strike username for Bitcoin payouts.
• Chat Content: Messages and responses you submit through brand chat conversations.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, clicks, and actions taken.
• Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs.
• Engagement Data: XP points earned, daily earning totals, streaks, leaderboard standings, and reward activity.
• Cookies & Tracking Technologies: Used to authenticate sessions, remember preferences, and analyze usage.

1.3 Information From Third Parties

• OAuth Providers: If you sign in via Google, we receive basic profile information such as name and email.
• Brand Partners: Brands may share information about interactions you have had outside our platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Operate brand chat sessions, live video features, and the rewards program.
• Create and manage your account and provide customer support.
• Confirm eligibility, calculate XP and rewards, and process payouts.
• Personalize your experience based on your activity.
• Analyze service usage to improve features and performance.
• Send transactional emails and, where opted in, promotional messages.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
• Meet regulatory obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with: brand partners (conversation excerpts and purchase verifications, with your consent); service providers (cloud hosting, AI processing, payment processors); legal authorities when required by law; and successors in a business transfer.

4. Crypto & Rewards Disclosures

• Gift cards require 10,000 XP and are delivered via Tremendous to your email.
• Bitcoin payouts require 25,000 XP and a valid Strike username.
• Cryptocurrency values fluctuate. Engagemii is not responsible for financial losses due to market movements.
• You are responsible for the security of your Strike account and wallet addresses.
• You are solely responsible for reporting rewards as income under applicable tax law.

4a. Engagemii AEO Services — Data We Collect & How We Use It

When you use Engagemii AEO (free score, PDF report, fix implementation, or AI citation monitoring), we collect and process the following:

• Website URL: The URL you submit for analysis. We fetch publicly accessible content from your site (homepage, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt, about page) solely to generate your AEO audit. We do not store your website content beyond what is needed to produce your report and fix files.
• Email Address: Used to send your report, download link, upgrade offer, and weekly monitoring emails. We do not sell or share your email with third parties.
• Payment Information: Processed exclusively by Stripe. Engagemii never stores raw card data. Stripe's Privacy Policy applies to payment processing.
• Consent Record: When you purchase an AEO report or fix tier, we record that you acknowledged the results disclaimer at the time of checkout.
• Monitoring Data: If you subscribe to AI citation monitoring, we store weekly query results (which AI engines cited your brand) to track your citation score over time. This data is used only to generate your weekly reports.

AEO Opt-In and Acknowledgment

By proceeding to checkout for any paid AEO product, you confirm that you have read and acknowledged the results disclaimer: AEO improvements may affect your site's AI visibility over time, but Engagemii does not guarantee any specific outcome. AI engine algorithms are outside Engagemii's control. Full disclaimer language is in our Terms of Service, Section 13.

AEO Data Retention

AEO audit records (URL, email, score, report token) are retained for up to 2 years. Monitoring subscription data is retained for the duration of the subscription plus 1 year. You may request deletion of your AEO data by emailing [email protected].

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active. Account data: up to 3 years after deletion. Chat logs: up to 2 years. Transaction/rewards records: up to 7 years for compliance. Aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use the following types of cookies:

• Essential cookies: Required for authentication and core site functionality. These are always active.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): Help us understand how visitors use our site — pages visited, time spent, traffic sources. These are only loaded after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
• Preference cookies: Remember settings like cookie consent choices (stored in your browser's localStorage).

You can change your consent at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for engagemii.com and reloading the page. You can also block all cookies in your browser settings.

7. Data Security

We implement HTTPS/TLS encryption, hashed password storage, access controls, and secure token management. No system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users as required by law.

8. Your Rights & Choices

• Access & Correction: Review and update account information in your profile settings.
• Account Deletion: Email [email protected]. We process requests within 30 days.
• Marketing Opt-Out: Unsubscribe via any email link or by contacting us.
• California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): Rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.
• Other State Privacy Rights: Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with privacy laws may have similar rights.

8a. EU / UK Residents — GDPR Rights

If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR applies to our processing of your personal data. You have the following rights:

• Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to Erasure ("right to be forgotten"): Request deletion of your personal data where we have no lawful basis to retain it.

Legal basis for processing: We process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (account and service delivery); legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement); consent (analytics cookies); and legal obligation.

Data transfers: Engagemii is based in the United States. If you are in the EU/EEA/UK, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and other appropriate safeguards where required.

Brand Score Pages — Third-Party Data Notice

Engagemii publishes automated AI visibility scores for publicly listed brands based solely on publicly accessible website signals. This is an independent third-party assessment, not a data processing relationship with the brand. If your brand is listed and you wish to have it removed, email [email protected] with the subject "Remove my site."

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is strictly for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has an account, contact us immediately at [email protected].

10. Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. Review their privacy policies independently.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Service or by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
