Is Profit Guard a calculator or a Chrome extension?

Both — it's a trucking profit calculator delivered as a Chrome extension. Instead of opening a separate spreadsheet or website, the calculator runs right on your DAT One load board and shows net profit on every row. You get the depth of a dedicated profit and IFTA calculator with zero copy-paste.

How is this different from a regular IFTA or trucking calculator?

A standalone calculator makes you type in each load by hand. Profit Guard reads the rate, miles and lane straight from DAT One and calculates net profit automatically — fuel by region, IFTA across 48 states, deadhead, maintenance, DEF and driver pay — using your own truck numbers. Same math, done in seconds instead of minutes.

Does this work with DAT One mobile?

Profit Guard is a Chrome extension that works with the DAT One web platform on desktop browsers. Mobile support is on our roadmap for 2026.

Can I customize my fuel and pay rates?

Yes! During the setup wizard, you enter your truck's MPG, fuel surcharge, driver pay rate, and fixed costs. You can update these anytime from the extension popup.

Is my data secure and private?

Absolutely. Your financial data stays local in your browser. We never store your DAT credentials or load board data on our servers.

Will this slow down my load board?

No. Profit Guard calculates in under 50ms per load. It's designed to be lightweight and non-intrusive to your DAT One experience.
