Is PCS a religious organization? Do I have to be religious or attend a faith organization in order to benefit from the services provided by PCS?

Spiritually-integrative counseling means that a therapist will attend to an individual’s thoughts, feelings, physical health, and spirituality. When appropriate, the counselor will explore a client’s beliefs about meaning and values, being mindful not to impose her or his spiritual beliefs or practices onto the client.

How do I get a referral to PCS?

Many insurances do not require a referral for counseling services, but it is a good idea to call your insurance company to double-check. If a referral is needed, primary care physicians, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, therapists, hospitals, medical facilities and insurance companies make referrals to PCS.
