How do I brew Nepali loose leaf tea?

Brewing depends on the tea type. Black teas generally steep for 3 to 5 minutes at about 195 to 205 degrees F, green teas for 2 to 3 minutes at about 165 to 180 degrees F, white teas for 3 to 4 minutes at about 175 to 185 degrees F, and oolong teas for 3 to 4 minutes at about 185 to 195 degrees F.

How much loose leaf tea should I use per cup?

A good starting point is about 2 to 3 grams of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of water, or roughly 1 teaspoon depending on leaf style. If you want a stronger cup, it is usually better to add a little more tea rather than over-steeping.
