What is Michel-Schlumberger Wine Estate?

A family-owned winery in Dry Creek Valley, Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California. Founded in 1979 by Swiss-born vintner Jean-Jacques Michel. In 1991, Jacques Pierre Schlumberger joined, bringing more than 400 years of winemaking heritage from Alsace, France. Today the Estate grows more than 15 varietals on our 100-acres Estate, specializing in Bordeaux-style wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Zinfandel.

Is Michel-Schlumberger a sustainable winery?

Yes. The Estate operates the largest solar energy system in Dry Creek Valley — 672 ground-mounted panels, 215 kilowatts, installed in 2016. In a typical year, it generates more power than the Estate uses. Over its lifetime, the system will offset more than 5,000 tons of CO₂.Learn about our farming practices.

Does Michel-Schlumberger have a wine club?
