What is a profit floor?

A profit floor is the minimum gross margin you require before an order is confirmed. Agentis evaluates each checkout against your configured floor, factoring in the applied discount, current COGS from NetSuite, freight zone, and FX rate, and blocks or redirects any order that falls below it.

How is this different from Shopify’s built-in discount logic?

Shopify’s native discount system has no visibility into your COGS, freight costs, or exchange rates. It applies discounts without knowing whether a given order is actually profitable. Agentis adds a real-time profitability check at checkout that Shopify does not offer natively.

What happens to my Shopify Scripts after June 30, 2026?

Shopify is deprecating all Ruby-based checkout scripts on June 30, 2026. After that date, any margin logic, discount override, or profitability rule you’ve built into Scripts will stop working. Agentis is a direct replacement, with broader enforcement capability, no Ruby dependency, and no disruption to your storefront.

How long does it take to deploy?

Most merchants are live within 48 hours. We connect to your Shopify Plus checkout and your NetSuite instance via Celigo. No changes are required to your storefront checkout code.

What does a customer see when an order is blocked?

The customer sees a standard checkout message, no error, no technical language. Agentis can be configured to redirect, modify, or block orders depending on your policy. The checkout experience remains clean from the customer’s perspective.

Do you work with merchants who aren’t on NetSuite?

Currently, Agentis is optimized for merchants running Shopify Plus and Oracle NetSuite. If you’re using a different ERP, contact us, we’re actively evaluating additional integrations based on merchant demand.
