What is a QR code menu?

A QR code menu is a digital menu accessible by scanning a QR code with a smartphone camera. The QR code contains a URL that redirects guests to your hosted digital menu — no app required.

How much does a QR code menu cost?

Dishtup offers a genuinely free plan with unlimited items, unlimited updates, and unlimited QR code scans. The Pro plan costs 10€/month (or 100€/year) and adds custom URL, multi-language menus, analytics, version history, custom themes, and up to 10 users.

Do my guests need an app to view the menu?

No. Any modern smartphone can scan QR codes with the built-in Camera app. The digital menu is web-based and opens in any mobile browser.

Can I update my menu myself?

Yes. The Dishtup editor is fully self-service. You can update categories, items, prices, photos, and design at any time. Changes are published instantly to your live menu.

Do I need to reprint my QR code if I update my menu?

No. Your QR code points to a fixed URL. The menu content can change without changing the URL or QR code. You only need to reprint if you deliberately change the menu URL.

Can I use my own domain for the menu?

Yes. Dishtup can configure your own domain or subdomain (e.g. menu.yourrestaurant.com) to serve your digital menu. Custom domain setup requires a one-time 100€ fee.

Is there a setup fee?

No setup fee for the standard plans. A 100€ installation fee applies only if you want to use a custom domain like yourrestaurant.com or menu.yourrestaurant.com.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. Subscriptions are managed via Stripe and can be cancelled at any time through the editor. Time periods already paid for are non-refundable.
