Where are Coto Academy Japanese language schools located?

Coto Academy currently has four physical locations in Shibuya, Iidabashi, Yokohama, and Minato for in-person Japanese language learning in Japan. In April 2026, we will open our fifth location in Shinjuku.

Does Coto Academy offer student visa sponsorship?

At the moment, Coto Japanese Academy does not offer student visas for students interested in joining our programs. However, in 2026, we will open Coto Japanese Institute , a pending MEXT-approved, full-time Japanese language school. This new school will allow us to issue student visas for overseas students. The intake periods for the new school are in April and October.

Does Coto Academy offer evening Japanese classes?

Yes, we offer evening Japanese classes in Tokyo for residents in Japan, including those on a working visa, spouse visa, family stay visa, or working holiday visa. These classes are perfect for working professionals who want to study Japanese after work.

Do you have intermediate and advanced Japanese classes?

Yes. Coto Academy offers intermediate and advanced Japanese lessons, including JLPT N2–N1, business Japanese, and conversation-focused classes. We support learners from beginner to advanced levels.

What is the difference between an intensive Japanese course and part-time Japanese classes in Tokyo?

Intensive courses run 5 days a week for fast progress. Part-time classes are held 1–2 times per week, with evening and weekend options, perfect for residents and working professionals.
