Does simulated WBL qualify under Indiana requirements?

Yes. Our program is fully aligned with Indiana’s Work-Based Learning Guidance. Districts use it for both 75- and 150-hour requirements, with WBL reporting provided.

How does licensing work?

Your district receives unlimited licenses across grades 8–12— no per-seat fees, no add-ons.

Is the content accessible for all learners?

Yes. All courses are available in 200+ languages and include built-in supports for students receiving special education services.

Can the program run outside of the regular school day?

Absolutely. Districts frequently implement simulated WBL during zero hour, period 8, after school, or hybrid models. This flexibility is especially helpful for Honors Seal+ students balancing demanding schedules.

What type of work-based learning experience is 220YL classified as under Indiana DOE’s Menu of WBL Experiences?

220YL is primarily aligned with Workplace Simulation and Industry-Developed Team Challenge , with partial alignment to Micro-Internship, Technical Internship, and Academic Internship.

Is 220YL eligible for Graduation Pathway Seals?

Yes. When implemented during the school year with proper documentation and instruction time, 220YL qualifies for Graduation Seals and can fulfill pathway requirements.

Can schools offer 220YL during advisory or flex periods?

Yes —but to receive CTE reimbursement, the program must be delivered during the academic year and within the school day using approved course codes and instructional blocks.
